Holistic Therapy Clinic

I will use a variety of Holistic Therapies to tailor a treatment to meet you personal needs. I have found that this method helps me to provide the best possible treatment outcome.

The Holistic Therapies I use are:

I often encourage clients to take an active role in looking after their health and wellbeing by using ear seeds, acupressure and in some cases moxibustion.

I avoid taking back to back appointments, this allows clients ample time to chill after the treatment, to this end tea and coffee are provided.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture treatments bring about a sense of relaxation, balancing the nervous system and relaxing the body. This helps to reduce the negative effects of a hectic lifestyle.

I find acupuncture particularly helpful for treating stress related issues such as:

  • Chronic pain

  • Anxiety

  • Trouble sleeping

  • Digestive issues

For those who are worried about needles I can use ear seeds and acupressure, which removes the need to use needles.

Massage

Through softening the tissues and improving circulation, massage treatments reduce the adverse effects of wear and tear on the body and help speed up healing after injuries.

I find massage particularly helpful for treating musculoskeletal issues such as:

  • Acute pain

  • Chronic pain

  • Stiffness

  • Aches and pains

Moxibustion

Through the application of gentle heat, moxibustion treatments improve blood circulation to help revitalise both body and mind allowing you to regain energy lost to overwork or long term illness.

I find moxibustion particularly helpful for treating fatigue related issues such as:

  • Feeling run down

  • Poor digestion

  • Joint stiffness

Cupping

Cupping therapy will help you feel more flexible and supple, by increasing mobility through improving the circulation of fluids in the tissues and helping relax overly tense muscles.

I find cupping treatments particular helpful for range of movement issues such as:

  • Chronic injuries

  • Stiffness

  • Immobility after an illness

It is quite common for marks to be left behind after a cupping session, while they may look scary, they do not hurt and go away after a few days
